Sunil Grover became a household name after he was seen starring as ‘Guuthi’ and ‘Dr Mashoor Gulati’ on the popular comedy show - ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The actor had quit the popular chat show after he had a nasty altercation with Kapil Sharma while returning from their Australia Tour in 2017. Allegedly, Kapil verbally abused and assaulted Sunil in the flight, which led to the latter's exit from The Kapil Sharma Show, reported ETimes. 

Recently, fans of the comedian are excited after a new video of Sunil dressed as his famous character Dr Mashoor Gulati went viral on social media. 

In the video, Sunil wearing his lab coat and wig is seen walking on the stage holding a bucket in his hands. The actor was seen accompanying with Archana Puran Singh and Rochelle Rao among others. 

Well, if you thought Sunil Grover is returning to TKSS, we are sorry to break your bubble but, he does not seem to have any intentions of returning on the show. 

Shortly after the video went viral fans were quick to speculate that Sunil will be returning to the popular chat show The Kapil Sharma Show. However, turns out, he will be reprising the character for another show titled, India's Laughter Champion. 


The latest promo video was shared by Sony TV as they wrote: "Aa rahe hai Dr. Mashoor Gulati aur comedy ke surma aapko hasi se lot-pot karne! Dekhiye India's Laughter Champion, shanivaar aur ravivaar, raat 9:30 baje, sirf Sony TV par!" the caption of the video reads. 

The 44-year-old comedian is popular for his portrayals of of Gutthi, Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi on television. He has also featured in films such as "Bharata, "Gabbar Is Back", "Patakha" and "Baaghi", among many others.
